When we began our efforts in April of 2014 in the Beach Cities of the South Bay our original target cities were the 15 cities of the South Bay as defined by the South Bay Cities Council of Governments. But once the City of Santa Monica joined our initiative we expanded to include the 5 cities of the West Side.
Here are the cities that each unanimously passed our resolution to participate in a Community Choice Power feasibility Study:
These 13 cities and Rancho Palos Verde who later asked to be included in the feasibility study represented an electric power load larger than an existing Community Choice Power program in the state of California.
